As I sat on the couch the last few days nuturing a nasty flu bug, I read the Biography of Steve Jobs.
I am sure many of you have read it as well. It is as much a personal reflection to me as it was a chronology of Steve's life. I grew up in the shadow of the tech industry just a few years behind Steve. I actually headed to Silicon Valley after I graduated in 1982. I too sat in the reception lounge of Apple in Cupertino with countless other grads seeking employment.
I saw that Jobs had simply taken the customer experience as the central focus of everything Apple should, would and could do. The book explains the challenges in delivering on this promise.
